Tyler Wong Shoots 68
Sudden Valley's Tyler Wong shot a three-under-par 68 at Glendale CC in Bellevue in the Sunday pro-am ahead of this week's Washington Open Invitational.

Sudden Valley's PGA assistant professional Tyler Wong shot a three-under 68 at Glendale CC in Bellevue Sunday to finish tied for sixth in the pro-am event ahead of this week's Washington Open Invitational. Tyler finished just two shots back of the three players who tied for first place - Meridian Valley CC's Greg Manley, Overlake CC's Derek Siesser and Portland's Brian Nosler.
Tyler's round was a major improvement on the 82 he shot at a US Open qualifier at Overlake CC on Monday. That day he hit 16 greens in regulation, but had trouble with the flat stick, hitting 40 putts. Word has it, the answer to his putting problems might have been a broomhandle putter he picked up following Monday's disappointment.
